What I'm Building (And Have Built)

Over the years, I've built many websites — some failing to launch, some living with little or no usage, and a few surviving with long-term growth. My effort these days is focused on building Featurableand maintaining EssaysThatWorked. Below is an (non-exhaustive) overview of the projects I've decided to highlight.

Tech Stack

Most of my work prioritizes a boring tech stack I feel most familiar with, optimizing for speed and maintenance. While for side projects and experiments I like to try the latest frameworks and tech. That means mostly using Typescript + React for frontends, and Typescript + Express/Fastify for standalone backends. I prioritize static site generation (SSG) and single-page applications (SPA), rarely reaching for per-request server-side rendering ("SSR", though SSG is also "server side"). Some frameworks I use or have used extensively include NextJS, SvelteKit, and Astro. I'm a big fan of React Router, Vite, Mantine (component library), and tsdown (a Rolldown- and Oxc-powered bundler). For hosting, I primarily use Cloudflare, Hetzner, and Vercel.
